Dienke Dekker became entirely fascinated by textiles and their techniques during her minor studies in textiles at the Design Academy Eindhoven, ultimately leading her to solely specialise in this subject. Since graduating cum laude from the Man & Living department in 2012, she has been working on the development of textile products and initiated several free experimental textile projects. In addition, intrigued by the multitude of textile crafts and their different regional characteristics, she conducted several research trips in collaboration with local artisans to learn more about traditional techniques and their modern adaptations.
